Information for expatriates

In accordance with the registration conditions, a shooter participating in an international competition under the auspices of FITASC must hold a licence from the FITASC member federation of their country of nationality. If they are resident in a country other than that of their nationality, holding only a licence issued by the FITASC member federation of their country of residence does not allow them to compete under their nationality in international competitions.

Following the decision of the Ordinary General Meeting of 10 July 2023:

All national federations that are members of FITASC undertake, if their national legislation allows them to do so, to issue a licence free of charge for the duration of the championship concerned to expatriates, as well as civil liability insurance if the national federation covers its affiliated shooters in the country concerned.

Otherwise, expatriates must become a paying member of the national federation affiliated with FITASC in their country of nationality and must certify that they have taken out personal civil liability insurance covering all guarantees during training and the competition in which they are registered.

To submit a request for a free licence, a form will be made available online, to be completed by the applicant shooter. They must provide their nationality, passport number, licence number in the federation of their country of residence, residential address, and the FITASC championship(s) in the current year in which they intend to participate.

By sending this form with a copy of the licence from the federation of their country of residence, shooters will be able to apply for a licence from the federation of their country of nationality at the beginning of the year for the number of FITASC competitions they have chosen.

Please download the form to be completed and returned by email to the federation of your country of nationality, along with a copy of your licence from the federation of your country of residence and a copy of an identity document showing your residential address.

This procedure allows you, at the start of the sporting season, to apply for a licence from the federation of your country of nationality for the number of FITASC competitions you have chosen.
